This will be a fun time where you can join with friends and meet new ones for dinner at area Fort Worth restaurants.  Dutch treat.  Feel free to sign up for one night or both nights for maximum Fort Worth enjoyment.

 

• Women Chemists Luncheon

Thursday, November 20, 12-1:30 pm

Dr. Karla McCain, Associate Professor of Chemistry & Director of Accreditation, Austin College, will speak on “Why Are Women Underrepresented in Science?”  Not just limited to women.

 

• Awards Luncheon

Friday, November 21, 12-1:30 pm

Awards will be presented for ACS Division of Chemical Education Southwest Region Award for Excellence in High School Teaching, E. Ann Nalley Regional E. Ann Nalley Regional Award for Volunteer Service to the American Chemical Society, Stanley C. Israel Regional Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences, and Southwest Regional ACS Award.

 

• Undergraduate Ice Cream Social

Following the Undergraduate Ice Cream Social, come meet with representatives from various graduate schools across the country to learn about opportunities and find the graduate school that is right for you!
